December 3-4, 2011

The Deer Valley Celebrity Ski Classic is considered to be the premier celebrity ski weekend, when stars from television, film and the Olympic games descend on Deer Valley Resort for a magical experience.  Free event so come on out and cheer on your favorite stars.

Deer Valley Torchlight ParadeCelebrate the Holidays in Park City
December 17th - January 1, 2012

Catch Santa and his sled full of goodies as he descends the Town Lift from the top of the mountain. Be one of the first 50 guests to dress up as Santa at Canyons and ski free that day. Don't miss the annual torchlight parade at Park City Mountain Resort on Christmas Eve, which is free to the public, plus many other activities for everyone. 


SundanceSundance Film Festival
January 19-29, 2012

Robert Redford's annual Sundance Film Festival is scheduled for January 19-29, 2012. Celebrating independent filmmakers, Sundance is a favorite Park City tradition for locals, visitors and celebrities.

February 2012 marks the 10th Anniversary of the 2002 Olympic Games and Park City is ready to celebrate. In addition to the competitions, a number of Olympic-related activities, exhibits, athlete appearances, autograph sessions, receptions and community gatherings will happen throughout the month. 
                                           

FreestyleFIS Freestyle World Cup
February 2-4, 2012

The FIS Freestyle World Cup is the world's most prestigious freeski athletic competition outside of the Olympics and will include aerials, moguls and dual moguls competitions at Deer Valley Resort.

Dog SleddingInternational Pedigree Stag Stop

With its unique dog-friendly "stage stop" racing format, the IPSSSDR stops in a different community each night, allowing the host towns to show their hospitality.  The International Pedigree Stage Stop Sled Dog Race, the largest dog sled race in the lower 48 states, was founded in 1996 by Frank Teasley to make sled dog racing more accessible to the public.

Cross CountryRound Valley Roundup and Nordic Ski Race
January 28-29, 2012

The Roundup is a 5K, 20K, and 40K community based event designed to encourage skiers of all levels. Pro level skiers will find it fast, amateur racers a great challenge, and life style skiers a tick on the bucket list.

Utah Olympic ParkUtah Olympic Park
Ongoing events throughout the winter

Come watch athletes from all around the world race down the Olympic track as they compete for the gold in the FIBT Bobsled, Skeleton, Luge. Admission to the museum if free so come watch athletes train and catch a World Cup event this winter.
