About the Park City Chamber of Commerce | Convention & Visitors Bureau

The Park City Chamber of Commerce | Convention & Visitors Bureau exists to promote Park City and Summit County as a world-class destination for everyone from tourists to business groups to our local neighbors.  We do this through coordinated domestic and international marketing efforts that work in tandem with those of our 1000+ members.  Our mission is to promote the Park City/Summit County area as a historic mountain resort destination with an ongoing Olympic legacy, enhance the resort experience, and be an advocate for a vibrant, healthy economy.

Park City, Utah is a 35-minute ride from Salt Lake City International Airport and sits nestled at about 7,000 feet above sea level in the Wasatch Mountains of Utah.  Silver mining started the city that eventually incorporated in 1884.  Park City's transformation to one of the premier skiing destinations in the world was marked by the first ski lift installation in 1946.  Since then, the "Greatest Snow on Earth" has been falling on all three world-class resorts-- Deer Valley Resort, Park City Mountain Resort, and The Canyons Resort.  Ski season, depending on snow conditions, usually begins in November and ends at the end of April, meaning that it is time to start enjoying all the other outdoor activities Park City has to offer like hiking, mountain biking, outdoor concerts, and arts festivals.
