There is always something new and exciting going on in Park City, no matter what season.  These are just a few highlights:

Utah Olympic Park (utaholympiclegacy.com)

  • Site of 14 events during the 2002 Olympic Winter Games-year-round U.S. Olympic training facility welcomes athletes of all ages and abilities.
  • Free admission-no charge to watch athletes train, tour the Alf Engen Ski Museum or the 2002 Eccles Olympic Winter Games Museum.
  • "The Comet" Public Bobsled Ride-Go up to 70 miles per hour and experience 4 G's of force on the summer bobsled ride with an experienced bobsled driver.
  • Introductory Sports Camps offered for youth and adults in Bobsled, Skeleton, Luge, Freestyle Skiing, and Nordic Jumping.
  • Flying Ace All-Stars-A 25-minute freestyle aerial show every Saturday throughout the summer. Choreographed with music, skiers and snowboarders perform acrobatic tricks and land in a 750,000 gallon splash pool.

The National Ability Center (discovernac.org)

  • Offers year-round adaptive recreation programs in 20 different sports, growing from 45 ski lessons in 1985 to more than 25,000 individual experiences annually.
  • New facilities for adaptive swimming and archery programs, opened to the public in 2009.
  • Offers multi-seasonal programs for all ages and abilities, incorporating able-bodied members of the community into the NAC's experience.

Dining and Drinking

  • Salt Lake Magazine named Talisker on Main Park City's Best Restaurant for two years in a row in 2012, located on Park City's historic Main Street. (taliskeronmain.com)

  • Hyatt Escala Lodge at Park City-New European-style ski-in, ski-out 178-suite hotel opened winter 2010-11 with major renovations scheduled completed winter 2012. Located at Canyons Resort. (escalalodge.hyatt.com)
  • Montage Resort-Located at Deer Valley Resort, includes a 35,000 sq. ft. spa, 17,000 sq. ft. of indoor meeting/event space, 174 luxury guest rooms and suites, personalized guest services, restaurants, and numerous other amenities. Environmental News

  • Swaner EcoCenter-A 10,000 sq. ft. environmental facility overlooking 1,200 acres of the Swaner Nature Preserve. The EcoCenter earned a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Platinum rating, making it one of the greenest buildings in Utah. (swanernaturepreserve.org)
