Spiro Arts is a nonprofit Artist in Residence and Workshop Center, located in the beautiful Silver Star development in Park City, UT. Situated on a historic mine site adjacent to Park City Mountain Resort, the rustic architecture and newly restored mine buildings provide a unique setting for Spiro's summer artist community which offers; fully subsidized six week-long residencies for artists, writers, and composers from around the world. Spiro Arts also hosts a variety of free community events, including open studio receptions, community outreach programs, and a summer lecture series. Mission statement: SPIRO ARTS EXISTS TO SUPPORT ARTISTS, WRITERS, MUSICIANS, COMMUNITY MEMBERS AND YOUTH BY PROVIDING A PLACE TO WORK, A SUPPORTIVE ENVIRONMENT, AND DEDICATION TO THE ARTISTIC PROCESS AND IDEAS ESSENTIAL TO HUMAN PROGRESS.
