The Park City Marathon and Half Marathon offers runners the experience of our beautiful late summer scenery and cool mountain temps.EVENT DATE: Saturday. August 16, 2014

EVENT DESCRIPTION: Presented by Newpark Town Center and produced by the Mountain Trails Foundation, the Park City Marathon and Half Marathon offers runners beautiful late summer scenery and cool mountain temperatures.

LODGING: Newpark Resort & Hotel is proud be the Official Lodging Partner for the Park City Marathon for the eighth consecutive year. We extend our support to the athletes and participants. FULL MARATHON COURSE DESCRIPTION: 6:30 a.m. start for the Full Marathon. The course is a unique, scenic alpine loop through Park City on both paved and dirt trails. The course starts from the Newpark Plaza at Kimball Junction. Marathon Course Map

HALF MARATHON COURSE DESCRIPTION: NEW COURSE FOR 2014! - View NEW Half Marathon Course Map We are excited to announce a NEW Half Marathon Course for 2014. This new course is a loop around the Park City area rather than an out and back format from previous years. The course will loop through open space, quiet neighborhoods and follows the McLeod Creek path with its plank bridges, beaver ponds and aspen stands - providing spectacular scenery on beautiful trails with a combination of pavement and dirt. Start time is 7:00am for the Half Marathon.
