Park City Town LogoRotary ClubCome up to Park City’s Historic Main Street & City Park on Labor Day and join the Park City Rotary Club in celebrating our mining heritage during a full day of activities for all ages including the Funky 5k Fun Run, pancake breakfast, parade, live music, softball games, mucking & drilling competitions, kids’ races, beer gardens and vendors.  The Annual Labor Day gathering celebrates Park City's Mining Heritage and raises money for Summit County non-profit organizations.

Funky 5-K at City Park

World Famous Running of the Balls, Main Street  
Balls will be available to purchase on the day of the event, starting at the breakfast and right up until they realease the balls.  

Labor Day RUNNING OF THE BALLS?  The way it works is; you can "adopt" a ball for $5 or 5 balls for $20. When the balls are released at the top of Main Street they are tracked down their route and the first ball through the shute will win it's owner a valuable prize, such as airline tickets and many other great donated prizes. There will be over 10 other prizes awarded for close finishers. This much anticipated event is sponsored by the Park City Rotarians and benefits other charity projects. Buy a "Ball" and enjoy the fun... it's for a great cause!  Buy balls prior to the event, or at the breakfast or Funky 5K.
