Park City Kimball Arts Festival

The Kimball Art Center is set to host the 45th annual Park City Kimball Arts Festival, one of the top art festivals in the country, in Park City, UT on August 1-3, 2014.  More than 200 selected artists, 30 live bands, three wine and beer gardens and the Kimball Kid's Corner will highlight the event.  Park City's historic Main Street is closed to traffic and open to festival goers.  Each year, over 200 artists are selected to participate in this annual juried show, featuring work in 12 categories - ranging from paintings to jewelry to sculpture and photography. The three-day festival is set to offer a newly programmed multi-sensory artistic experience for its anticipated 45,000 attendees, including visual-art exhibitions, live musical performances, cuisine-related activities, art-focused film screening, as well as its largest fundraising event, The Park City Kimball Arts Festival Opening Night Gala and Auction.

"The jury selection process last year was very intense due to the masterful works presented by seasoned artists, the creativity explored by many emerging artists, and the inspiration provided by artists featuring non-traditional materials," noted Erin Linder, Director of Exhibitions for the Kimball Art Center.  "Festival attendees can expect another weekend full of surprises while experiencing a renewed sense of art."
