Park City Kimball Arts Festival
The Park City Kimball Arts Festival will be taking place July 31 - August 2, 2015. This is the biggest fundraiser of the year for the Kimball and helps keep the exhibitions and education programs free to the public. Ranked in the top twenty festivals in the country by Smithsonian Magazine, this lively 3-day event attracts over 58,000 people to experience over 200 artists from 30 states and Canada, 30 live bands on 3 stages, and cuisine from Park City's fabulous restaurants.

This year there are over 70 new artists participating in the festival. There is a dynamic kids area with face painting, KSL kids booth, scavenger hunt, and various art projects and demonstrations including a community mosaic project. lululemon Athletica is conducting complimentary yoga for festival attendees on the Zoom/Sky Lodge patio every morning at 9 am, and the top of Main St will be turned into a work of art during the chalk art competition on Saturday morning.

Beasts of the Southern Wild - Friday, July 31Sundance Institute in collaboration with the Kimball Arts Festival, is proud to present a free screening of Beasts of the Southern Wild on Friday evening, July 31st at 9:oo pm in City Park. CANYONS SUMMER FREE CONCERT: 10,000 Maniacs - Saturday, August 1One of the most critically acclaimed bands of the last three decades, 10,000 Maniacs were founded by Robert Buck, Dennis Drew, Steven Gustafson, John Lombardo and Natalie Merchant in the fall of 1981. Jerry Augustyniak joined in 1983. Together with artists like R.E.M. they defined college rock and created the first wave of alternative rock bands and what became know as the alternative rock format on FM radio.
